ParksRanked has one job: help you find the right park and plan the trip, honestly. Here is every tool, grouped exactly like the More menu. Open More any time to reach all of them.
Take the 60-second tour — A quick five-stop walkthrough — search, open a park, use the filters, plan a trip, and your passport. It also asks your home base and favourites so the app opens to parks near you.
Plan the whole trip — One page runs the entire trip — flights, stays, budget, a day-by-day plan and what to pack.
Day-by-day plan — Tell us a city and how many days; we build a paced itinerary with nearby parks and drive times that you can reorder.
Road trip — Enter your start and end cities — we surface the top-ranked parks already on your route.
This weekend — The best-ranked park near your home city for this Saturday, checked against the forecast. Set your home city once in Settings.
Your route — Pick up to 10 parks and we put them in the best driving order.
Search — Find any park, state, type or city — every park is in here.

Find your park — Answer 5 quick questions and we score every park to find your best matches.

National Parks quizzes — Five short quizzes on how the parks began, the fights to save them and the people behind them — earn points as you learn.
Treasure hunts — Open a park, then spot real things on-site for points, badges and streaks — solo or as a family. Points never affect rankings.

Recommend an app improvement — Tell us what to build next — your idea goes straight onto the build list.
Claim your park — Rangers and operators get the verified visitor-feedback dashboard (30-day free trial). Claiming never changes a ranking.
Settings — Home city, defaults and preferences — set once and every tool gets smarter.
Every feature, explained — This page — the full guide to every tool, with the build version at the very bottom.
Swipe the photo for the Near the park slide — directions, satellite view, places to stay, food and fuel, all anchored to the park. The chip row under the photo jumps to Weather, Things to do, Reserve and more. The pill shows the park’s ParksRanked Score (0–100) — our own composite, independent of any third-party rating. Share this park sends a link that opens straight to it.
Photos come from Wikimedia Commons and Wikipedia under their open licences (such as CC BY and CC BY-SA); each photo is credited on its park page, and non-free images are never shown. Park data and ratings come from public sources including OpenStreetMap (© OpenStreetMap contributors, ODbL — download this open data) and public park agencies, with an owned ParksRanked Score computed from public structural data (park designation, global renown, terrain and mapped features), independent of any third-party rating. We don’t list park entrance fees or cost estimates — those change and vary worldwide, so we point you to the park to confirm. Rankings are never for sale.
Rankings are never for sale — not to parks, not to advertisers, not to anyone. Affiliate links are disclosed and never change a ranking. Recreation.gov pays us nothing; we link it because it's the right answer.
